Women on Mission

Women on Mission          "Laborers together with God." (I Corinthians 3:9)

Our emphasis this year is Live The Call and our watchword is Colossians 1:10, "Walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God."
At First Baptist we sponsor eight women's groups that meet monthly.  Each group has a different emphasis but all follow our six areas of missions focus. They are:

  1. Pray for missions

  2. Engage in mission action and witnessing

  3. Learn about missions

  4. Support missions

  5. Develop spiritually toward a missions lifestyle

  6. Participate in the work of our church and denomination

Our groups are named for missionaries serving in America and around the world. Members pray for and keep up with them regularly.
