This summer at Richmond's First Baptist Church 


Sunday worship services at 8:30 & 11 a.m., and Bible study at 9:45 a.m. will continue each week.

"Reading Other People's Mail" a sermon series by Dr. Jim Somerville, from Ephesians. Sunday mornings July 12 through August 23.

Wednesday evening family dinner will be served each week at 5 p.m. in June and July, but will not be served in August. See our dinner menu here...

Following the Wednesday night dinner each week, there will be a brief prayer time and devotional in the Dining Hall.

Summer Wednesday Night Series: “A Life in Ministry.” Speakers will share their personal missions/ministry experiences at 6:15 p.m. in the Dining Hall.

Summer Small Groups will meet throughout the summer. Sign up join a group on the bulletin board outside the church offices.

“Classics in the Courtyard” returns Thursday evenings in August. Classic movies will be shown on the big screen in the courtyard. Invite your friends and neighbors to come and enjoy the movies, popcorn and fellowship. Bring your own chair.

Activities for Youth will continue throughout the summer. Check the Youth web site the beginning of June for information on summer youth events.

Wednesday night
children & youth music and missions will take the summer off and resume September 9
