Mural takes shape
The hallway of Suite 210 (which leads to the 3rd & 5th Grade Sunday school
classrooms) on the second floor of the church building is getting a splash of
color. Megan Lowe, Ben Oliver and Tom Wright have been working to create a mural
depicting Richmond landmarks. "The purpose of the mural is to imply that
children can further the kingdom of God right where they are," said Megan. "The
landmarks were chosen just because they're familiar (especially with children)
and are unique to Richmond." The artists are volunteering their time and talents
to the project.
