Programs and Ministries

Food Pantry
Open Monday and Wednesday from 10:00am to 12:00pm. Persons may visit the food pantry once every two weeks with a maximum amount of twelve times a year. Food can be donated and may be placed in the cart located on the first floor hallway by the church offices. Read more...

Clothes Closet
Open Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday from 10:00am to 12:00pm. Donations of clothes are accepted and may be placed in the containers located next to the elevator on the lower level. Read more...

Grace Fellowship
Provides Bible study, a hot meal, fellowship, and worship time every Thursday night from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at the church. Read more...

Household Items
Open Monday and Wednesday from 10:00am to 12:00pm. Provides household basics such as pots, pans, utensils, dishes, glasses, linens, toiletries, blankets, etc, to those in need.

Showers
Open Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday mornings from 10:00am to 12:00pm. Showers are also available on Thursday nights from 5:00pm to 6:00pm. Toiletries and towels are provided. Donations of toiletries (such as hotel soap and shampoo) are accepted in the first floor hallway shopping carts. Read more...

Youth hand-make sleeping bags for the homeless.Sleeping Bags
Meet on Wednesday nights to hand make sleeping bags that will be given to the homeless. This is an important ministry to provide warmth and comfort to those without during cold nights.

Neighbors @ Hand
This ministry matches volunteers together with elderly, disabled, or impoverished people who need help around the house or with projects. Read more...

CARITASCARITAS
First Baptist Church serves as a homeless shelter for one week during the winter months. Volunteers provide three meals, showers, recreation, etc, for our approximately 40 guests.


Operation Joy
A holiday ministry which provides Christmas joy to those in nursing homes, youth centers, hospitals, etc...
