Participating in Microchurch via the Web

A ministry of Richmond’s First Baptist Church

It’s important that everyone can see and hear. There are many options. You could set your laptop up in the living room, or even at one end of your kitchen table, as long as everyone can see. Inexpensive external speakers will let you turn up the volume as high as it needs to go. Or you might explore the use of Apple TV, Google TV, and the Logitech Revue. Most of the video material is available on the web.

Below is some sample material to guide your time.

Select one of the suggested orders of worship to begin...

Suggested order of worship based upon Luke 16:19-31 and Dr. Somerville's message, "Looking Through Tinted Glass"

Suggested order of worship based upon Jeremiah 31:31-34 and Dr. Somerville's message, "A Re-Arranged Marriage"

Suggested order of worship based upon Luke 18:9-14 and Dr. Somerville's message, "Lord, Have Mercy!"

Suggested order of worship based upon Matthew 4:12-23 and Dr. Somerville's message, "Drop Everything!"

Suggested order of worship based upon Matthew 5:1-12 and Dr. Somerville's message, "You Say You Want a Revolution"

Suggested order of worship based upon Matthew 5:13-20 and Dr. Somerville's message, "This Little Light of Mine"

Suggested order of worship based upon Matthew 5:21-37 and Dr. Somerville's message, "Matters of the Heart"

Suggested order of worship based upon Matthew 6:24-34 and Dr. Somerville's message, "Don't Worry About Your Life"

You may also take advantage of the video resources from the Sunday morning worship services at First Baptist Church. Sermons, music and other portions of the services are available right here on your computer.

Join us Sunday mornings at 9:45 for a live WebClass Bible Study. You may participate by asking questions and making comments online. You may also view previous sessions.

If we can improve the experience for you in any way, please feel free to make suggestions.  We want your Microchurch to thrive.
