20-Somethings

How do I maintain a genuine and fruitful relationship with Christ in a fast paced, consumer focused society? What does true faith in God really look like for me? How do I maintain and develop meaningful relationships with those around me so that I might be a catalyst in changing the world? How do I continue to dig deeper in discovering who God really is in my life?

These are all questions in the minds of the 20-Something generation. At First Baptist Church, this newly formed and inquisitive group meets in part, to discuss and seek God in these and all areas of their lives. Whether it be a worship and challenge based meeting on Sunday mornings or digging deeper into the Word of God on Thursday evenings, this group seeks to dig, question, and most importantly learn more of God's heart for this generation of believers.

Opportunities for Involvement:

"Something Different", Sunday, 9:45 am, FBC Gym - This is a different way of approaching Sunday mornings; which includes: music, coffee, challenge and discussion... a step towards Christ at the beginning of a new week.

Something Deeper", Thursday, 6:45 pm, FBC's Pusey House - This is a more intimate, discussion based meeting focused on the Word of God and digging deeper into it's contents. It is an opportunity to fellowship and discuss questions of faith in a smaller environment.

To be added to the 20-somethings e-mail list or for more information about how you can become involved in this exciting new group, please email Lynn Turner.
