Hanging of the Green
Sunday, November 30 at 6 p.m.
Our annual “Hanging of the Green” service will be led by our choral and handbell choirs.
Children, youths, and adults will sing the carols of the season as we transform our place of worship
into an inviting and colorful place to wait and celebrate the birth of Christ.

 

Child of Light
Sunday, December 7 at 7 p.m.
A concert of music presented by the one hundred-voice Church Choir, Orchestra, and One Accord.

Gingerbread Churches
Friday, December 12 at 7 p.m.
Bring your own gingerbread and goodies to eat and share as you and your family make a gingerbread church to adore your home. Children's Ministry staff will provide the glue icing. Please make your reservations by December 1 by contacting Megan Lowe (Lowe@FBCRichmond.org)



 FLO Holiday Hat Happening
December 13 at 2 pm in the Dining Hall
A holiday high tea “For Ladies Only.” The speaker is Christy Somerville. Tickets are sold out.

All is Bright!
Sunday, December 14 at 5 p.m.
A bouquet of music from One Accord and the FirstRingers.

 

A Children's Christmas Musical and Birthday Party for Baby Jesus
December 17 at 6 pm in the Dining Hall and Gym
Come celebrate the Christmas season with the kids as they sing and participate
in a special birthday party for Baby Jesus.

A Service of Remembrance
Thursday, December 18 at 7 p.m., Chapel
For those who have experienced the loss of a loved one during the past year,
Christmas can be a very lonely and difficult time.
This service is designed to celebrate the lives of those who have passed,
as we celebrate the birth of the One who gives eternal life.

Singles Christmas Celebration
Saturday, December 20 at 6:30 p.m., Dining Hall
Join FBC and area singles for our annual Christmas Celebration. We'll have live music, a delicious meal, along with guest speaker Drexel Rayford. Tickets are $15 each and available in the library. Dress is semi-formal. Contact Walter Morton at 358-5458, ext. 132 (Morton@FBCRichmond.org).

 

What a Wonderful Birth
Sunday, December 21 at 6 p.m.
This year’s annual Christmas pageant presented by our youths,
shares the timeless story of Christ’s birth in a fresh and engaging way,
reminiscent of the classic “What a Wonderful Life.”

 

Candlelight Christmas Eve Services
December 24 at 5 & 11 p.m.
The 5 p.m. service is usually filled with children and their families.
The 11 p.m. service includes communion.

Childcare for the 5 p.m. Christmas Eve Service
is provided for children, age 3 and under
